Project Details
Park Forge recently completed landscape construction works associated with a Dog of Leash area in Pioneer Park at Landsborough for Sunshine Coast Regional Council. These works included several challenges that Park Forge was able to rectify for our Client. Works included were:
- Site preparation, clearance and maintenance
- Heavy vehicle entry and car parking works
- Installation of park furniture and fencing
- Pavement and kerbing
- Timber construction
- Earthworks, including additional works as requested
- Erosion control and environmental management, including protection of trees
- Site drainage works
- Soft landscape works

Walkabout Creek Carpark
Project Details
PROJECT: New Carpark – Walkabout Creek Discover Centre Upgrade
The General Scope of this project was the construction of a new car park as designed. This included a tiered upper carpark and another lower carpark with pedestrian access from TransLink Carpark to the Events Law area in the south of the Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre Reserve.
Construction of Footpaths and landscaping and revegetation of site. These works included several challenges that Park Forge was able to rectify for our Client. Works included were:
- Site preparation, clearance and maintenance, including felling of large trees
- Heavy vehicle entry and car parking works
- Installation of concrete pathways and stairs, handrails and fencing
- Pavement and kerbs
- Installation of Asphalt, line marking, wheel stops and signage
- Construction on a sloping site with key stakeholders on site throughout the project including staff, visitors and tenants of WAC Discovery Centre
- Earthworks, including additional works as requested
- Erosion control and environmental management ,including protection of trees
- Site drainage works
- Soft landscape works

Project Details
PROJECT: BNE Airport Skygate Precinct Pedestrian Safety Upgrades
BAC engaged us to complete a design and construct of various safety upgrades including
- Compliance with Various Standards
- Lighting Design
- Provision of RPEQ Inspection and Certification
- Provision of concept drawings
- Interpretation of Guidelines
- Compliance with the Landscape Masterplan for the precinct
- Hold Design Meetings
- Incorporation of comments form various stakeholders
- Complete For Construction Drawings
- Completion of the construction
- Provide As Constructed survey and Drawings for the works
DELIVERY: The Project was completed on time and with no project variations.
One of the most sensitive components of this project was to design aesthetically pleasing pedestrian barriers that blended in with the surrounding landscape and architecture.
This was made more difficult with a large group of stakeholders.
The completed works delivered on aesthetics and function.
