Fitzgibbon Fire Break

Project Details

PROJECT: Firebreak Fitzgibbon Chase – Brisbane City Council

Park Forge recently completed the construction of a firebreak surrounding residential property located in Fitzgibbon Chase and the associated civil construction works required to complete this project for the Brisbane City Council.

These works included several major challenges that Park Forge were able to rectify for our Client. Works included were:

Site preparation with clearance of corridor without injury to fauna and flora
Construction of a firebreak on geotextile in up to 700mm of water in 3 stages
Sediment and erosion control, including silt socks to hard surfaces and geotextile filter fabric
